HCG Meal Options

Many people think that because the HCG diet is one that is extremely restricted and only allows 500 calories a day that there is no way that there can be any decent meal options available to them. All you need to do is slice up some red radishes and mix with minced onion, parsley, amino, and a little bit of salt and pepper to taste. For dressing, use a little bit of lemon juice (you can use the juice from one of those plastic lemons…you will get more from it, and it will stay fresher longer).

·         Entrees: There are many meats and fish options you can have while you are on the HCG diet. One delicious option is Lemon Pepper Fish. All you need is 100 grams of white fish, juice from half a lemon, a couple of cloves of garlic (minced), salt, pepper, cumin and turmeric. Mix all of the ingredients and marinate the fish in it for an hour or longer. This is a really quick meal that you bake in the microwave at a temperature of 400 for about 10 minutes. When the fish is cooked, squeeze a little bit of lemon juice over the top.

·         Desserts: Yes, you can have desserts when you are on the HCG diet, but the desserts must be made from healthy ingredients and prepared in a healthy way. Apples are an important part of your meals on the HCG diet, and you can make tasty desserts with them that have no additional calories. One thing to try is coring an apple, then placing it in a glass baking dish. Sprinkle the apple with cinnamon and nutmeg, and add a little bit of honey or artificial sweetener such as Stevia. Bake at 350 degrees until the apple is soft, about 20 minutes or so.

These three recipes make up an entire meal, and as you can see, this is going to be a pretty filling meal.
